YT Class Little Buddy Book Reading

On the 26th of August, YT Class and their Little Buddies from KBR shared their favourite books with each other. YT Class read the blurb to their little buddies, and then the KBR students read their book to their YT big buddies. Here is some pictures: 

Maths House Quiz Time

We had an amazing time and Hillary won. Well done Hillary! A close 2nd came with Devoy. Some tricky maths questions.

Maths Week Has Started

HR class got together with their VH buddy class on Monday. We started with a fantastic treasure hunt run by the maths committee, leading into our maths games that HR made last term. It was maths ticking all over the room. Great games HR class well done!

Term 3 Swimming

A busy three weeks in Discovery with swimming instructions 3 times a week. It has been amazing to see the students engaged and improving in their swimming instructions. I spoke to one of the instructors today who was really impressed with the way the students are advancing in their lessons. May they keep it up over the rest of the year because it is an important skill when we are surrounded by water. A big thank you to all our parents and Naenae Pool staff who have been helping with this education.
